The food is great but the service is pretty bad. Place is a little expensive but for the quality and amount you get it is worth it. Service was slow, the server was easily confused, at the end she messed up our bills and through her own disorganization she thought she under charged us but she was looking at previous customer receipts. I wouldn't go back here unless i ordered take out. Too bad the service ruined it, would love to have given 5 stars for the quality of food.

Hirame is awesome. This is my first time at this location. I heard when they first started it wasn't quite as good as their brooks wood location... But they obviously have the kinks worked out. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Service, menu, and food all just as good.... And possibly in an even nicer building. I love this place. Still love the other one too but I can't say enough... It exceeded my expectations. Good job!

The food never disappoints, but sometimes the service does. Some of the servers really lack on the welcoming feeling, they make you feel like it bothers them to be serving you. It may be expensive but the portions are huge, making it worth your money. Try the sushi pizza, it's delicious!

The sushi here is absolutely amazing and this restaurant is truly a hidden gem, the service and hospitality exceedeed all of my expectations

This place has consistently well made food. Presentation is always top notch. The only thing I could complain about is the service is a bit slow.

Love this place, food is amazing. Unfortunately the service in house is hit or miss. Pretty much always just order take out now because don't want it to ruin how good the food actually is. Would be 5 stars if didn't have to sacrifice not being able to eat in.

This is my favorite place for Sushi in Aldergrove. The food is fantastic and the price for what you get is reasonable. We go there at least once a month. The monthly specials change and it is a good way to try some of the other food at a discount.

Great food.

Service was very prompt and pleasant.. Food orders were good sized. Great variety on the menu. Reasonably priced, but not cheap My Bento box met my vegetarian choice, was tasty , and I even took some home, which I ate for a snack that evening.

One of the best sushi places around. Portions are good sized and amazing quality. Staff are kind and detailed. A must try for sure!

Super fresh sashimi. Great food. Fast service for food, but staff slow to check up for drinks etc.

Nice resturant. Large but it was only about 5% capacity at dinner time. The menu is a little confusing and the prices are a little on the rediculous side compared to other decent sushi places I've been to. The waitress was on us like white on rice asking us 3 times if we were ready to order within the 1st 5 min of being there. I had to wonder if it was because once people see the menu they leave so its there way of making sure they get a sale. With that said, when the food came i noticed that the pieces were kind of stupid big and all different sizes but it was very flavorful. The pieces were just to awkward to eat. You can't really tell in the photo the size but you can see how un uniform they are.

Very good place for sushi and Japanese food all around. The staff is very nice and always courteous. They are also accommodating when requesting something be changed on menu items. The furniture and ambience in general probably needs an upgrade but overall very good.

Good portion sizes. Meh service :( they like to use they're sauces on the rolls. Don't order too much at once

This place was very different. The servers attitude was horrible they are thieves the cook prepared our order with very little of the key ingredients listed on the menu then had the server say sorry and lied about what happened. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone...

Went in there and the lady wasn't that great on service. We sat down and waited 5 minutes for our menu and another 5 minutes for our drinks. She took my order fine but my bfs she seemed very confused, like she didn't know the menu. 2 people brought us our food and she didn't. She was the only waitress. We weren't happy. Not going there again

Sometimes the food is outstanding, sometimes far less so. Hit and miss, although we keep going back. 😯

I am not very in to sushi however, the food was delicious.
